That's right. Another year has gone by and it's time to do taxes again. As usual we have all of the basic tax forms and some of the ancillary forms. Anything we don't have can be ordered from IRS directly by calling 1-800-829-3676.We can print for you from IRS's website, or you can print from their website at home at www.irs.gov
As in the past three years, as a reminder, Oregon no longer uses public libraries to distribute their tax forms. Oregon forms can be ordered by calling 1-503-378-4988 (from outside of Oregon) or 1-800-356-4222 (from Oregon prefixes only). They can also be printed from the Oregon Department of Revenue website at http://egov.oregon.gov/DOR/PERTAX/formspit.shtml
Now for the free tax help situation. Sadly, AARP has opted not to return to Camas this year, but fret not. VITA volunteers will be here beginning February 2nd, and stay through April 16th. They will be here Thursdays and Fridays from 1-5 PM, with a focus on taxpayers with low income.
