Title: The Thirteenth Tale, Author: Diane Setterfield, Rating: 5 - I actually started this book a couple of months ago, but had trouble getting into it. A friend recommended the book to me, so I picked it up yesterday and didn't put it down until almost midnight. Part ghost story, part scandal, and part storytelling--this book took surprising turns and twists. The main character, Margaret, discovers her own story while working with a dying author, Vida. Vida's secrets, once exposed, will change several lives.
Title: First Meetings in the ENDERVERSE, Author: Orson Scott Card, Rating: 4 - After finishing Ender's Game, I checked it out and read it in one day, First Meetings in the ENDERVERSE. This book contains 4 short stories including the original novella of Ender's Game. It begins with two novellas about Ender's father, Paul. The last story is about Ender and his sister 20 years after the events in Ender's game. All four stories were enlightening and added to my enjoyment of the first novel I read.
Title: The Stingray Shuffle, Author: Tim Dorsey, Rating: 4 - Zany thriller/mystery story about serial killer Serge Storm and his sidekick Lenny. Drugs and drinking references may offend some. I never saw the surprise ending coming.
Journey of Socrates, Author: Dan MIllman, Rating: 4 - This was a wonderful

prequel for Dan Millman's first book, "Way of the Peaceful Warrior". Dan's storytelling gives us a very touching account of how Socrates developed into the Man he became. He went through so many trials and endured so much heartache and yet he found peace and a purpose in life through it all. I found myself really admiring Socrates, and Dan for the way he wrote this wonderful story
