One-Line Bio

The mission of the Camas Public Library is to enrich lives, encourage self education, and promote an enlightened citizenry by providing free access to diverse and expansive collections.


Located at 625 NE Fourth Ave., the Camas Public Library houses more than 110,000 titles and 200 magazine and newspaper subscriptions. The types of materials housed at the library include an extensive reference collection, compact discs, a collection of non-English books (Chinese, Japanese, Russian, etc.), DVDs, and books on tape for kids and adults.

EBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines are also available.

The library is open to the public Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Camas Public Library, founded in 1923, is an independent municipal library funded by the citizens of the City of Camas.
